Almost all the colleges are done with the application procedure....
N its only welingkar which is one of the reputed institutes(atleast in western INDIA) to take CAT scores n is still accepting applications....
The PGDBM(150 seats) course in the mumbai campus as well as the MMS(120 seats) course are worth a shot...
Also in fray is the specialised course for Retail management-30 seats (By pantaloon)
I'm startin this thread to discuss more about the institute as well as the gd/pi procedure...
Seniors at the college pls join n give valuable feedback about the college....

Scores accepted : CAT (19th November 2006) / MH-CET 2007 and / ATMA (11th February 2007)

yes , they accept the higher score out of cat and cet so dont worry..collect form from CL.Timeor any coaching institue..and apply online & then go and submit at the centre..after the results are out...for CET..u can apply those..

want some help. i am in a big mess.... screwed up CAT badly... no calls as of yet in any college.. planning to apply in wellingkar. will be giving CET... i wanted to know that is it worth going to welingkar with my profile...

10th - 80+ (cbse)
12th - 80+ (cbse)
engineering (computers) - VJTI
work ex - 18 months (mnc)
good extra curricular... studied for 3 yrs abroad...
the thing is i am desperate to do mba this yr..
have been waitlisted for spjain-dubai singapore...
dont know if will get a call in that...
pple please help

Im having 2 extra forms of Welingkar PGDBA Course..
it can be applied through both CAT and CET and ATMA
Last date for applying online is 28th Feb..
So if anyone wants the form pls give me PM..

Hi.. Dude..
I guess those questions are the 1ce..which r about ur own thinking,
because they reflect part of u.and so u should write what u feel.
I even did the same for myself.

need ur 10th & 12th ..%age & work experience if any??

yes dude with 88 %ile and 10th 83% ..
i guess u have 50-50% chance..even if u has 1yr exp..it wd have been 90%..
Since they prefer calling laterals..there is a strong reason behind tht..

dude u shd have given cet... u wd have gt around 95%ile easily ..
Iwill tell u hw can u judge urself


for the call they take this total
1] Marks out of 100 say ..89 (i am not sure how they convert)
2] 10 marks for Past Academic Record .
3] 20 marks for Experience.

So i hope u can see.. how it goes for u...Best of Luck..

thro 1 form v can apply to diff programs...or separately to each program...

You need not buy seperate forms for seperate programs... you can apply to all the programs like PGDBM, PGDeB, Retail Mngt, etc. thru one form.

The last date of submission is also 28th Feb... so submit is soon :neutral:

Hi d1!
28th feb is the last for both on line and submission as well.One form only for all programs. On line application mode, u hv to select the preference 1,2,3..like dht..as for yr credentials very good for a call! b-d-way krissh at pune is hvg two forms, if u culd help him?!

hi to all........
i have scored 84.17 percentile in CAT this year, and at this percentile i haven't got any call from any institute.
i haven't applied for Welingkar yet, do i have any chance here or not....
i'm in BTech(electronics and communications) final year from Jamia Millia Islamia(Delhi). i have secured an aggregate CGPA of 7.65
i don't have any work experience
my 10th %- 69.4(CBSE)
my 12th %- 77.2(CBSE)

so is dere any chance of mine here or should i wait fr next year's CAT.

also does any one has any idea of placements of welingkar

yes they accept the higher of two scores....
get the form from any of the coaching classes ...fill it online...take the print out and submit

Go for any college which is RECOGNISZED in industry n welingkar is............juz go for it....taking it or not taking it depends on you once u convert...All ur cards wud be opened by the time welinkar comes with its list ...first let them take u...den u can reject..will give u sigh of satisfaction
