I have some queries to the seniors. Plz sum1 tell me how is college (mumbai campus) as in terms of curriculum, placement, infrastructure? I m planning to opt for finance as a specialisation.. Is it worthy to apply for it.

Rooney, Are you sure about the extension of last dates:oops:. Bcoz, I am in a trouble for getting my work exp certificates. If it is as you said, then we shall apply after the results are out.:grin:

BTW puys, do anybody aware of last year cut-offs?

not sure about placements, so won't comment on it...
the cut-offs were around 83%ile...my friend got a call at that..

as far as I know, it's a yes(the dates will extend)...however, you never know...be on the safer side and if u wanna go for it, fill the form...consult them on the helplines and I guess you will be allowed to submit the proof later on..
rest, wait for a senior's reply..will help you out..

Thats my last years experience man, am pretty sure thats gonna happen, this is too early,call and cut off r 2 different things, my frnd got a call for 80% CET, cut offs r profile based so no use discussing that, and I wont comment on donations, lol:biggrin:

Hi Guys

There are many ambiguous infomation in the market about Welingkar.

One more thing as far as Specialisation is concern do you really think that college teaches you the entire finance. The curriculum does not even cover 40%. Just saying finance would be vague. There are hell lots of sections and abundance of profiles in finance. So dont think about it at this point of time.

Apart from placement and all try to understand how much college is reputed amongst industries placement will fall in place obviously.

Can we have at least one Senior who can help us on this?

1) what is the placements scenario for PGDM(MAX-MIN package)
2) what was the cut-off last year..Do welingkars give profile based calls?

its been extended till 31st, see wat i told you? They have a nice thing going on, if they declared before, submission is open after result, ppl wit low scores won't fill, and they keep it open after result to attract high scorers

In the form there is a section in which we have to fill the registration numbers for cat,xat,atma,mhcet...
my query is that since the mhcet forms are not out.. so what to fill in that and should we wait longer for the dates to extend further..

Neeraj, U can fill the form now, and when Mhcet forms are out U can edit it online, WE school has that system, no need to wait

Khanjan, WESchool is very much worth applying unless u want only IIMs, XLRI,FMS IIFT, placements are good, Their highest placement to date was 25 lacs, i think that was 2 yrs ago, see the mandatory disclosure for more details

in case of admission to welingkar pgdm course it accept mh cet also then if an oms student want to get admission through the mh cet has given cat then what will be the admission process and when will it start after the delceration of mh cet result or before that?

U will recieve a call in April depending on your marks, u can enter both marks. What has oms gotta do with it, hope you are not confusing this with MMS
