This may be a purely academic post, but why in God's name would you start a thread like this when there's a thread by the admin clearly stating the rules, which are that you are not permitted to start a thrad of this nature unless the result has actually been declared, or the institute provides a link or officially states that result is on such date at such time, or if institute sends an sms. None of these have happened.

You can't start a thread like this based on hearsay or 'telephone calls' because it wastes people's precious time. This is the top MBA site, and a lot of people waste their valuable time waiting for results when they see threads like this.

Edit: Just found that the official Welingkar discussion thread has been locked, but I still don't get it because there hasn't been any confirmation, so going by the rules we're expected to stay online and keep checking for updates because this thread is allowed to function?
However, if there's any insider info I'm not privy to, and I owe anyone an apology, then so be it.

Well there is too much speculation about the result as of now...and probably its becoming difficult for everyone to anxiously wait for the results so this thread might have been started...
