Hi, Is Warwick not as popular these days? Haven’t been able to find any sharing on admits …or even a thread for 2012.
I was wondering what is the expected time that they will be getting back with the results, from time of interview.
Hi,

Good see a thread on Warwick ..even I was wondering the same !!! I think due to the strict UK Visa restrictions ...people are particularly reluctant to apply ..and may be thats why this year there has been no thread abt Warwick even though they are ranked 27th in world by FT !! but now we have one 😃 ... I had my interview with Warwick ..and was told that the result will be declared within 2 weeks time from the interview date ....!!!
I sure hope we have more participants here soon!
Hi Guys,
Wish you all the best for your results, i have my interview in couple of hours. Can you let me know the pattern of the interview?
Only just saw Sudip2011's post. Hope it went well for you!
Must say that the Warwick's interview was rather "benign" and the friendly interviewer really put me at ease.
True Hubble, the interview was more like a discussion and went pretty well.
So i guess all of us are waiting for the results and i am not sure why there are not many posts regarding Warwick this time around as its still a very sought after course and well recognized as well and i don't think its the recent changes in the Visa rules which have any impact on this, because there are still a lot of people lining up for an MBA from UK universities even from the lesser ones which hardly figure in top 100.
Hope o get more insights from other applicants soon.
Even my interview went pretty well ..no stress questions as such ...to which all other b-schools have you people applied ? Have you people contacted the current students of Warwick ? What was thr response ?
I've applied to Cass as well. Havent been able to speak to any Indian alum at Warwick. Anybody had the chance to?
hey guys,
Lets make this forum active by having all the discussions for warwick mba 2012 here. I have received an unconditional offer for mba 2012, have deposited my registration fees.
Warwick mba is one of the best in UK after London Business school, Oxford (said) and Cambridge (Judge) for business studies. The program is exceptional with consultancy project and internship. They also offer a 3 month exchange program with top business schools worldwide such including Nanyang, IIM-A, HKUST, HEC - Paris...
Feel free to share your views and queries.
Thanks.

kunalmodi - how long did you have to wait in between offer and interview?
Hi Kunal,
Congrats on ur offer !! Same question as hubble 😃 (eagerly waiting for results after a good interview)..Warwick indeed is a gr8 school to be in ....but I have my certain inhibitions about joining an UK school ...mainly due to visa restrictions 😞 !! I have offers from Mannheim Business School, EDHEC ...so getting confused abt what shall i do if i get Warwick as well .....Also did u receive any scholarship ?
Hi all,
For the people who got admitted, could you please explain the admission process? As much detail as possible please, this will be really helpful for me as I already got an offer from Cranfield and just want to know when will his whole WBS process be over as it is a priority for me.
When did you submit your application?
When you got a positive reply?
When was your interview?
And when did you receive your offer?
I'm hopping this won't take much time as I'm afraid I might waste too much time waiting for a reply and lose my chance securing on-campus accommodation on Cranfield.
Thanks and hoping to see u all there soon 😃
Hi Arty4546,
Warwick's application process is quiet a lengthy one as compared to most.
I applied in Mid January and only got the Interview notification in the last week of Feb confirming an Interview date of 1st March.
Have been waiting since then and haven't got any reply on the status post interview. Hopefully i will hear from them by early next week if not by tomorrow.
So it will be safe to consider at least 8 week period for getting a final decision on your candidature from the day you apply, hope this helps.
Regard,
Sudip
Hi,
I had my interview on 29th February and that time the interviewer told that it would take 2 weeks for the decision. So I hope that by 14th March I would get my result :)
I had applied on 1st January but the interview call got delayed mainly because my Recommendations were still pending. But as told by Sudip2011, it would easily take 8 weeks for the final decision to come.
Thanks guys, wow this isn't what I hoped for.
Quite off-topic but, in your experience if I wait for the end of may to get the final decision on my WBS application, would that be 2 late to apply for on-campus accommodation in Cranfield?
Generally the accommodations are allotted on first cum first served basis and logically speaking students from overseas must form 80% of in campus accommodations and due to visa formalities most of the people apply early.
Hence considering all this yours will be a borderline case if you plan to wait that long, its always a good idea to inquire from the school representative, they can give you a definitive picture.
I contacted the admissions office ...and they said that my result would come latest by Wednesday !!! I am now really confused as I need to confirm my Mannheim Business School admit for which deadline is on Tuesday !! Do you people have any ideas which school is better ?
I am not very aware of Manheim and dont recall having seen it in top 50 colleges in FT. However Warwick is pretty reputed in UK and comes only after the like os LBS,Oxford and Cambridge.
BTW when did you give your interview for Warwick as i am also waiting for the final result.
Mannheim is comparatively a new B-school and hence not in the FT rankings as they rely heavily on how big the b-school is !! It ranks in Economist ..and has been higher than Warwick !! I have done my research on Mannheim Business School ...so i think it is at par with Warwick ....!! The only thing I am worried abt doing MBA in UK is post study working opportunities in UK. What are your thoughts abt it ?
I gave my interview for Warwick on 29th Feb !!
