I am a third year B.Com(Hons) student, and want to pursue either an MBA or a Masters in Finance in the UK. I know that all the top b-schools require at least 3 years of work experience, but could someone tell me whether the same applies to the Finance degrees ?
Also, some people have told me that it is difficult for a B.Com student to get admission there, as Commerce is considered a 'mickey mouse' subject in Britain. They also told me that it becomes difficult to get a job there(especially in Investment Banking) if you do an undergraduate degree in business related courses. Is this true?
