Here's a thread for all applicants and admits to the Wake Forest University Babcock for Fall 2012. I tried locating one, but didn't find any. Anyway, I have applied on the Feb 15 deadline, still waiting for my WES credential evaluation to reach the university. Puys please come forward and share your experience.

Hey- Same status as yours applied on 15th Feb...still awaiting for WES evaluation...

BTW how much time does WES normally take (any ball park number) Secondly you applied for document by document evaluation right?

Hey kuldeep,

WES normally takes about two weeks to come out with the evaluation. I opted for course- by- course evaluation. I think that is what Wake Forest needed. I replied WF much earlier. around 30 December as application was free that time. Had my interview on 9th January. Applied WES on 25th January. My transcripts reached WES on 28th Jan. They gave me the evaluation date as 10th February. I upgraded my delivery to 2nd day air express so that transcripts reach before the 15th February.
15th February was scholarship deadline? isnt it?

Yes the scholarship deadline is Feb 15. I see that you have got admits from some other schools. Congrats :cheers:
So you had your interview before submitting all the materials?! Now thats surprising because they mentioned on the site that an application would be evaluated only after they receive all the supplementary materials. Did they tell you when you would get a decision?

Hey House & Psethi- Quick question....I have done my BE from Mumbai University.I am somewhat confused with WES document requirements....got few questions from WES

a) Can I submit official transcript received from college in a sealed envelope or is it mandotory that we need to take a photocopy of each semester and get it signed from University

b) Is it mandtory to send degree certificate? I am asking this bcoz I have the original degree certificate and I can take the photocopy but my application review will get delayed if I ask univeristy for attesting it

Please provide your input

Hey Kuldeep,
a) Official transcript from the college in a sealed envelope is sufficient. Your transcript does contain the marks and subjects of each semester right? Because they need this for evaluation
b) Yes in the required document page they did mention that they need a photocopy of all the degree certificates you have received so far. There is no need of getting the photocopy of the degree attested.

hey i did not wanted to take a risk of sending the documents again to WES as I dont had time, so i have sent my 1) Transcripts 2) Attested Marksheets ( DMC) 3) and Attested degree certificate.

I don't know about the admission process there but the interviewer told me that they will give me admission decision only when they receive my transcript. So i think may be in a week or so i expect to hear the admission decision as my transcripts reached on 14th Feb.

it is written on WES website i think that it should be from University not the college.

Why do they have seperate guidelines for diff people...I am yet to submit my WES evaluation report...secondly i sent official GMAT score today but yes I did sent my scanned official copy + scanned GMAT score to them before submitting my application...

Congratulations for the invite. My interview was on Jan 9th. Its been over a month, so I dont remember exactly but it was very conversational and general. All standard questions such as Why MBA, Why Wake Forest etc and nothing unusual but you need to be prepared for the unusual as well. Read sure to read ur essays and cv well. couple of questions from them.

BTW I have received another email yesterday to discuss my career goals with Director Career services.
I don't know how to take this email. They have found my application not strong enough so they scheduled another interview or vice versa. Although the first interview with admissions director went great in my perspective.

You don't need to send anything to WF regarding transcripts and degree. You need to send WES, which will send it on your behalf to WES.
1) Official transcripts
2) Attested Degree certificate- University
3) attested Mark sheets- University
all in sealed envelopes
They will also send you one copy of evaluated documents.
