I have following questions, it will be great if you can give you opinion.
Q1. How much does it cost to attend FT MBA @UT Dallas, without Scholarship ?
Q2. Whats the average scholarship given to International Students ?
Q3. Whats the placement scenario, is it so that its easier for certain concentrations and relatively tough for other concentrations ?
Q4. In market or from recruiters perspective, what are the various strengths that UT Dallas project. I mean is there a specific concentration that is more famous among recruiters and they are more interested in recruiting students from that concentration.
Q5. I am having an IT background and would like to join IT Company after my MBA. What are my prospects. Which are the IT companies I should target.
Q6. Whats the range of monthly expenditure of living in Dallas and pursuing MBA ?
Q7. What are the usual problems which Indian students face over there during placements ?

A1 : Have a look @ http://jindal.utdallas.edu/academic-programs/mba-programs/ , under Cohort MBA you will find the fees. An in-state scholarship will considerably €‹reduce the amount that you have to pay .
A2 : International students get a good amount of scholarship. The scholarship offered depends on your GMAT Score, Profile and your interview.
A3 : Placement scenario in US is quite different from India, companies won't come to campus like they do in Indian business schools ( we do have some companies which come to campus though). You have to reach out to companies to find internships and grow your network. Chances of getting a job / internship increases if your concentration ties up with your previous experience.
A4 : UT Dallas has a strong local presence and good industry tie-ups.
A5 : If you are looking to join an IT company after your MBA then you have a lot of options. Have a look here http://jindal.utdallas.edu/career-management-center/students/.
A6: Expenditure ( per month ) If you share a room
Rent : $ 250 - $300
Food ( if you cook at home ) : $70
Electricity / Utilities / Internet : $50
Dining out : $40
A7 : Quite a few companies don't sponsor F1 visas ( International Students) but then there are 100s more who do sponsor F1.
Please remember before you come to US for MBA that you have to actively search for jobs on your own, this goes for every B-School . Career Management Center will help you but the scene in India is entirely different.

I'll break down the answers to your questions.
Types of questions asked and why UTD conducts interviews :
- Questions about your work experiences , why do you want to do mba, etc.
- Why interviews ?
- The interviewers want to see that you are are a good fit for the school.
- Whether you will be able to contribute in a class setting or not.
- They want to know more stuff about you.
Don't worry about the interview , my interview was less like an interview and more like a conversation. So stay relaxed and don't worry too much about it.
16 months program - Is it too intensive ?
Short answer - Yes
It is quite hectic and you will take time to adjust but this is how business life is and it's better you prepare and experiment with your time management skills in college rather than doing it in the real world. Don't worry about the course content, our profs. have a done a good job of making sure that we learn stuff and get a hands on experience.
UTD vs Rest ?
Every MBA college has it's own set of advantages and disadvantages. It is up to you to figure out which is the best match for your work ex, skills and requirements. For me, UTD course and program structure worked well ( that's why i am here :)). The answer to this questions is best answered by you. Let me know if you are looking for anything specific.

2) Qualities they look for : A well rounded person in terms of work exp / personal experiences and the willingness to give back to the class and society.

4) The Career services center organizes a lot of workshops to help you with job search. You can book appointments with them and discuss things like job offers , CV , etc.

However, I could not find much info.
Moreover, which SAS Certification is provided by Dallas ?
To be very frank I am still in a fix about the concentration which I should choose.
Whether it should be Information Systems/ Strategic Management/ Other.
My future goal is to be Business Analyst, which concentration can complement my goal. Your valuable suggestion is highly appreciated. 😃
