@sweetsweat same pinch dude me 2 in that range 74-75! ...u must be aligned with some coaching insti for cse.....what they are saying? or your peer groups opinion about this ...... ur frnds who have cleared prelims and attended this as well.......as the vacancies are very less and paper was very similar to cse so i guess the cse aspirants would play the major role in making the cutoff a roller coaster for others!

It seems UPSC is playing mind games with the candidates. There's no reason for them to increase the gap b/w pre and mains except that they want to give us more time to prepare for mains! And why give more time?! hmmm....I'm not going to speculate!

I don't think it's a bad move....candidates will be sort of relieved for they'll be getting some more days to prepare and revise 😃

More days...means more days of anxiety....more nervousness...and finally less study!(holds true for me)
Well, may be they take longer time to announce Preliminary result...

Depends on the individual . Few prepare side by side and appear for exam at the end of first year of MBA .. Few write exam even before joining MBA .. Either ways, lot of preparation is needed at least for the mains if not for prelims .

I tried preparing for CS during MBA & ended up with horrible grades. If you are aware of hectic schedule of a top-10 B school (from where I pursued MBA), then it'll be totally futile to give an attempt. However, it would be advisable to improve grip on GS, current affairs etc.

If you have cleared Pre this year than don't worry about 2013. Try to make it in 2012 itself as they say Tomorrow Never Comes.
And why waste time in thinking about things that are beyond your control?

i agree.........will be appearing for the first tym!

point is cse 2013(main) pattern......vajiram started saying the change is confirm and the details will come in December itself..........

but still i m not botherd because.............its a matter of mains................and will be equal for everybody....................

cat is done completely......................no more cat..........now its tym for CSE......

puri jindgi padhte rahenge kya................1-2 saal aur............bas!!!
pehle IIT ke prep..........engg karo......phir CAT......mba karo...........phir civils ki prep........IAS bano!

life me aur bhi kaam hain padhai ke alawa.................

R u sure Vajiram said that ? One of my best friend is preparing there ? She was saying that the current chairman s trying to implement the changes in 2013 as he'll retiring soon !!

exactly i talked to vajiram personally and got the same info.........they said that 2013 is the year for change and chairman will do this............!!!
retirement is for sure.......!!

see we cant make judgement regarding this.........its govt overall!
