Hi Friends Sorry if my query sounds repetitive or if the query is solved somewhere else in the thread or some other thread please direct me there I am a working professional and can't afford to read for 16-18 hrs a day. So please simply suggest the following things for civils prelims preparation this year - 1. Areas to be covered for the exam (eg Geography, Economy etc) 2. (Important) One book for each area/ topic to be covered. Can't afford to read many books. Thanks in advance.

Someone reply, i had filled upsc 2016 form but didn't take pre exam. If i want to apply for upsc 2017 then my previous filled form count or not count as my attempt.

Hey guys Please help me choose optional subject. I am a working professional want to prepare seriously for UPSC this year and probably next year too. have interest in history though I am from technical background. I have heard history is vast so not a good option to choose. One subject I have finalised as geography. Please suggest really need your help as closing date for form filling is near.
