Hi all, I wanted to check the criteria for IES (Indian Economic Services) exams. The criteria mentioned on the website is masters in economics, applied economics and business economics. I have a degree in MSc. Finance and Business Economics, a degree from U.K so wanted to know if I am eligible. Also, wanted to find out the syllabus and any good coaching institutes for the same.

Paper1 : Sharp but doable. Just 68 attempts here.
Paper2: Lengthy. 71/80 attempts here.
PS: It won't be appropriate on my part to provide an analysis, it's my first attempt after all. 😃
Had my first attempt today. Few things i came to know that i have to prepare hard especially GS and wud have to sharpen more other things. Paper was of good standard, one need to have a logical brain to krack it.
Appeared for CSP today. I didnt have much preparation to be frank, but still I thought GS Paper 1 was quite okay. I may be wrong but I didnt find too many questions from Current Affairs part, for me the paper was basically more of economy, polity, science, and geography mostly. I guess those who prepared hard for it should have fared really well today. Paper 2 was a bit lengthy I suppose though.
