Hi Kapil,

I've applied for Round 1 and i'm waiting for IV call. But some of my friends with similar profile got a call for prelim IV with students of UIUC. Can i also expect call for prelim in the near future? What is the purpose of prelim IV?

Thanks for posting your query, and congratulations on applying to UIUC!


In my knowledge, the preliminary interviews would be more like information sessions. During this week things may have been slow because of the thanksgiving break. So don't get too anxious if you haven't heard from the AdCom in the recent past.
