I have completed my online application for UAlberta MBA Program starting Fall 2014 and also got through the interview. Now waiting for FGSR to respond.

Applied for the Alberta FT -MBA Program, Fall 2014. Submitted Scanned Transcripts, SOP, Resume and Official GMAT score will reach them shortly (I hope!). Awaiting reply from the adcom.

Hello everyone.
I am applying to alberta full time MBA. I am facing quite a few problems in the online application.
1. For starters, I am not able to choose the FT MBA class in Alberta campus but only the one in Fort McMurray campus. Anyone got any idea why ?
2. I need a list of docs to submit for application. Is the official transcripts required immediately or only after admission decision ?
3. Does the LOR need to be in the format they have mentioned ? Or could it be in the letter format which they have already given me ?

It's been a while that I have submitted the Online Application, Official GMAT Score, Scanned copies of UG Transcripts and Certificate, and the 3 LORs to the Alberta adcom. I am yet to get an interview invite. Here are a few questions for the forum:
1. I got a mail from Bear Track, stating that I will get a Comm ID within 2 working days. But, I didn't get any and it has been a week since the first mail. Any ideas here? Anything that I might be missing out?
2. Please let me know the turn-around time for interview calls, for the ones who are applying during this time of the year.
3. Is there anyone apart from avro who is applying for the NREE specialization?

Does U of A offer scholarships ? If yes, what is the range.U of A website does not specify the scholarship information on the website.
The U ofA MBA costs 50,000 CAD which is not cheap in my opinion. Better ranked schools like UBC, McGill cost in similar range.

I submitted my application to U of Alberta on 19th Feb and on 26th Feb Eva replied to me that my application is completed and would be reviewed by th admissions comittee. How long does it take after the application submission for its evaluation.

Can anyone give clear details of the visa process? I have a few questions below. It would be of great help for everyone if people who have already competed the process could share their insights.
1.Did you submit visa online or the paper application? Is there a difference?
2. I didnt see any mention of IELTS for the visa check-list. Can somebody shed light on whether its required or not?
3. Regarding proof of financial support, has anyone opened a bank account in a canadian bank yet? or are you just showing bank statements for last 4 months + loan papers?
4. Is a letter of explanation/statement of purpose required?

2. If a family member from the US (citizen) is sponsoring you for your course, how could I show that as a proof of finance?
