Kindly share your Interview experiences and discuss about the same in this thread only.
Guys who are done with interviews , please share your interview experience. Also mention your Specialization.
The document verification was kind of irritating. Took me more than an hour to get it done. However after that it took some 10 minutes to go for the interview. There were 4 people in the panel, all were males, two of them were old and other two were younger than them.
Each one of them asked me questions ranging from family to education to my education abroad. Everything was detailed discussion. There were questions on my subject, i.e. Banking and Finance. Some of them are:
1. Tell us about the banking system in UK.
2. Do you know about the LIBOR controversy?
3. Explain debt-equity ratio. What should be the ideal ratio? If a company has a debt-equity ratio of 1:1, how do you think the company's position is?
4. What are the ways in which a company's winding up can occur?
5. What is reverse mortgage?
6. Tell us about the credit rating system in India. If a company is rated A+ what do you think about it?
7. What was the topic of your MBA dissertation?
8. What were the major causes of financial recession in USA?
9. How does your certificate from NIIT IT Test help you in discharging the duties of an AO?
10. Are you called for interview in any other companies? I told them the truth.
11. If you are selected in both OICL and UIIC, which company would you prefer?
12. How important are the communication skills for an AO?
13. Since most of the postings are in southern parts of the country such as Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh, how would you cope with it?
14. How did you fund your MBA abroad?
15. What was the process of getting a scholarship?
16. Which do you think is more important, aptitude or attitude?
17. Why didn't you try for private sector jobs?
Total time 15-16 minutes.
