Hello Everyone, i am new to the forums.
I will be giving the MET which will be held on 17th March 2013. I want you people to shed some light on the exam. I am aware that the exam has 5 sections including General Knowledge, Business Economics, Quants, Date Interpretation, and Verbal. But i am unsure about the paper pattern as to how many questions will be there and how many should i attempt to score a good rank. Frankly speaking i have not started preparing for the exam yet. Some of you might think after reading the above line that i am wasting my time but i was busy with my College projects. Now that i am free, i am fully determined to clear the exam no matter how many hours does it take, i will clear it. I gave CAT 2012 so i am aware about the subjects. I only need some tips. If possible please provide answers to my following questions.
1. How many questions will be there in the examination?
2. How many, out of the available questions, should i attempt? (Like they say one should attempt 40-45 out of 60 to crack IIM, (just quoting an example))
3. I was told that i should study my Class 11th and 12th Economics books for studying the Business Economics section. Is it true? If not then which books should i read?
I found the 2012 paper online. After evaluating it, i found that there were 20-20 questions each in General knowledge and Business Economics section. 40 questions included both Mathematics and Data Intepretation and 40 questions were of Verbal ability. Overall the paper seemed a bit too easy on comparing it with CAT. But there's always some tough competition. I request you to only provide respond if you are aware about the questions i mentioned above. I dont want any hate answers. Previous exam givers are welcome to share their experience.
ThankYou.

@ramesh1010 First of all, Do not call me a sir. No. I am not an Old person as you seem to perceive me.
Secondly, for preparation of Economics i suggest studying your Class 11th and 12th Economics books. I don't really know if there's any e-book or something available.
