ranked pretty high most of the years... Canada is a safe place wen it comes to recession n stuff... placement rates r good... fee is better compared to US universities

I already have an admit. I had applied for fall 2011 and got an admit. At the last moment i couldn't go coz of financial reasons. The university has deferred my admission to next fall.

thats good. Congrats :). Can you give some tips on how to make application strong and interview question? what is the expectation of adcom?
at what time, did u submit the app last year? and how much time it takes for whole process.

Hi Phantom1807... I'm planning to apply to Alberta but I still haven't registered on their website (online application)

Can the letters of reference be sent by email by the recommendors? Is it compulsory that we have to courier the references in sealed envelopes?
Is the essay (Statement of Intent) a part of the online application or does the hardcopy have to be sent with your transcripts?
Can we upload the resume on the application website or do we have to courier the hardcopy with the transcripts?

U have to send the lors in a sealed envelope....and the resume n statement of intentshould also be sent as a hard copy....

About the interview questions....they ask questions like why mba...why alberta...walk me through ur resume...tel an incident when ur manager was against u n how did u manage that...will u stay in canada after mba or go back to ur country

Two queries :
1) LORs can be send in sealed envelopes. But, do they accept if applicant sends the courier containing sealed and signed envelopes by refrees? Or they have to be couriered by the refrees only and not the applicant?
2) Also, I have heard that there is an option by which universities accept recommendations if they come from refree's Company/professional e-mail account. Any inputs ?

The LOR's can be sent by you in sealed envelopes... put the Sealed LOR's, ur resume, transcript, attested copy of all marks sheets and degree certificate in a sealed envelop (with the university seal across the envelope) and ur Statement of Intent in a bigger envelope and send the whole set.

I dunno abt the second query. I've never heard of this option. Maybe u can mail the university ppl asking if this can be done.
