The interview was pretty simple. It was more of a two way conversation. He was very friendly. He asked questions like
walk me thru ur resume
why Alberta?
Long term goals
What specialization and why that?
Later he let me ask questions and answered them in detail. He said that the decision will be out in a couple of days.

Yeah I was supposed 2 get the result by now, but have not 😞 I was called for the interview after about a month, but that was because the holiday season was in between, else it would've been earlier i guess.

Yeah i did... the interview was in Bangalore... even UBC said that the decision ll b out on 21st... but dint hear from them as well... did u attend d interview as well?
Even I attended the interview in Bangalore on 15th. But he told me that the results would be out in the first week of Feb...

TOEFL is not required if you have graduated from a university recognized by Alberta. Pls follow the link below to know the list of univ.

I have sent the LOR in hard copy. I guess we don't have any other option. Not sure though!

Got a mail from Alberta that the Admissions Committee has reviewed my application and is recommending admission to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research.
do we also have to send the CV. Also, can i send all the LORs myself or should i ask my referees to mail them... what other documents do i need to send.. could you let me...
They do not ask for Essays but a Statement of Intent - "A statement of intent, approximately 1 to 2 pages in length, must be included with your application. The statement should outline why you are interested in the program to which you seek admission, what your expectations are for the course of study, and how this degree relates to your career goals."
LORs are to be filled in the prescribed format by the referees and sent directly to the office - "Referees are asked to complete our standard referee form (Letter to Support Application)and to submit the form directly to our office in a sealed envelope"

U have to send a hard copy of ur resume.... the LOR's should be in standard format. The standard pdf format is available in the website. Ur referees should fill that, take a print, put it in a sealed envelop and sign the envelop across the seal. U can send this by ur self 2 the university as it is in a sealed envelop.
