Hello friends, hows preparation going on? here something for you hope it will help you
Before the Interview –
• Plan to arrive before one day, if possible see the venue (TISS) one day before.
• Bring original copies of your mark-sheets & other documents which you think important. It is not compulsory to bring, still you should keep them with you.
• Dress- Appearance should reflect maturity and self confidence. Be neat, clean, and dress in good taste.
• Practice saying your responses out loud. Answering potential questions in front of a mirror can be useful for assessing your facial expressions.
• Have friends and family ask you a list of questions and give you feedback on the following: content and organization of your answers (completeness, level of detail, how easy to follow) and your presentation style (pace, voice quality/tone, energy, posture, eye contact, hand gestures, etc.)
During the Interview-
• Relax! Think of the interview as a conversation, not an interrogation.
• Remember to SMILE!
• Make good eye contact. Do not fidget with pens, paper, or your hands. Try to keep hands still or folded in your lap. If crossing your legs, avoid bouncing your leg or foot.
• Sit up straight with upright, yet relaxed posture.
• Don’t speak too fast. Speak clearly and don't be afraid to pause a moment to collect your thoughts. Silence is better than filling the time with ―umm and ―uhh.
• Be enthusiastic, confident and honest.
• Listen to the questions carefully and give clear, concise, and thoughtful answers. Even you know the answer very well, take pause of few seconds.
• End the interview - thank the interview panel for their time and consideration.
• Avoid arguments with the panel, don’t try to make them fool, they are very smart & knowledgeable people. They are taking interview every year so they can read our face very easily.
• Sometimes they will check your confidence; they can ask are you sure? Is it true? Be confident if you know.
• They can ask you situation base questions, listen carefully, take your time, think and answer.
BEST OF LUCK :)
