I know this might be a little early in the day but was wondering if anyone could share exam preparation tips for the TISS MA Counseling exam. There is a thread that deals with preparing for GD/PI. However, could not find anything for the exam prep. Can we start this as a new thread (for MA Counseling)? Mods, pls help.

Priya, I Called up Tiss and they told me that the forms would be available by month end and that exam date would probably be second week of Dec '11.
It seems that TISS is only now introducing the objective paper for counselling. It was not there in the previous papers when the paper was fully descriptive. Any ideas about what could come in the objective paper (Part 2)?

2) CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THE TEST STRUCTURE FOR TISS LIKE THE DETAILED EXPLANATION OF THE TWO PARTS OF THE TEST
WILL BE VERY THANKFUL FOR A PROMPT AND CLEAR REPLY
1)Yes there is reservation.
2)This is not the relevant thread to ask this question. This thread is for MA Counseling.MA Counseling is another course offered by Tiss.

29 Oct: last date to submit online applications
4 Dec: written test

If you are asking abt the structure of exam for Counselling, it is as follows:
Part 1: General paper for all TISS courses, consisting of QA, GK, English and a bit of reasoning.
Part 2: 1) Descriptive test with 3 questions 2) Objective questions
This info is available in their brochure. The objective questions for Part 2 is a new introduction and I don't think we know what to expect in that section. Any reference books or material that anyone suggests would be helpful.
