1.Total score =QA score + LR score + VA score
2.Difficulty level of this test according to you, compared to real NMAT
3.What should be the expected cutoff for this test?

NEED TO WORK ON SPEED...After working towards CAT attempting a different strategy i.e faster approach and elimination thru options to increase speed becomes a problem.

A dismal score of 153.

Any idea where do i stand?

I scored the least in quant! though it had max questions.....

@AIR1 As today was the first day of the slot...its hard to tel where you stand...let others post there scores..the picture wud b clear...I scored just 177...

i scored 222(111 + 69 +42)

Very poor performance in section 2. Only 9 correct in 22 minutes spent!!

Especially in verbal i found myself running out of time and Quant i screwed up too. Argh!

-> Quant: Might not be a prob for people preparing for CAT..Just bit more faster calculations needed in numerous DIs.. Sufficient time to score 100+...

LR: I think the level for sets is very near to those of easy to moderate level CAT LRs.. again not a prob if you leave early the time-killing sets (say2-3)...

VA : happened to be the total disaster for me... Vocab got mean... proper preparation needed to get through the cut-offs ...


-> What I think about this paper is that one should not keep the no -ve marking situation in mind for a surety of bounty of free marks.. THAT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN ... it would at best cushion your score.. Best strategy would be to keep a tab of surely correct answers (can avoid in QA as the answers would be mostly correct) while attempting and meeting the premeditated threshold of the certain number of correct attempts and finally zipping through the left out questions in final 3-5 minutes...

-> -> 36+22+27 correct attempts and you are happy to get a sure call...

@Rahul_Sharma23 hey ... not doubting ion ur judgement.. but still...how do u get to know that 36+22+27 will bring a call... bcoz i think its a bit too low...

Things can get messy whilst writing the NMAT. Too many questions, and less time. Judgement plays a major factor here.


Main toh bas yahi soch raha tha ki kaunsa ques karu, kaunsa chod du. Half the time is wasted to read the question.

Yeh toh pata tha ki Wrong Attempts ke liye -ve marking nahi hai. Par yeh nahi pata tha ki Unanswered questions ke liye -ve hai. Kuch -ve aise bhi aa gaye. ďťż
