i had my process 2day...n had a real gr8 time...
first it was d apti...30mins n 40 questions...
nxt it was d gd..my topic was...shud cricket b d national game of india?
then v moved on 2d 2 rounds of pi's....
d panelists wer very helpful n ther wasnt much of grilling...
also u wud thank all d buddys...they wer superb, excellent n helpful...
especially kapil...as he was my buddy, i was wid him d entire day...
i met akshit 2day....was nt able 2meet mak...

actually u get very less time,so i dnt rmmbr much...
bt wat i rmmbr is...
ther was lots of english..
ther was di,quant....n reasoning too...

SIESCOMS had a PI round n a Grup PI during out tym...but dis yr as a surprise package,der r two rounds of Personel Interviews...
One needs to experience by ones' own self to knw dis rounds...aldbst!!

Wat r ur timings?
The admission process was overall good,,
Apti is a bit difficult, GD & both PI' s are easy, not at all different form a traditional process.
My opinion is Work experience is of extreme importance for selection..
More than 2000 students have applied for the overall admission procedure..
institutes having 120 seats in PGDM and i think another 60 o 120 for biotech & pharma management
that proves admission criteria is going to be really tough..
Seeking admission through management seat also, is really gonna be very expensive this year.

hey puys,
my experience of the siescoms gd/pi is ellaborated as under:
1) The first round is an aptitude test. The details of the aptitude test is as under:
No of questions: 40
Duration: 30 mins
Level Of Difficulty:moderate
Type of Questions: CET level (my apti dint consist of visual reasoning i dunno bout the other aptis).There are no seperate sections, the question paper is a blend of quants, verbal and di...theres no gk.
Rules to b followed while marking: marking is wid pen, no change of answers is permitted. you hav a seperate answer sheet for marking the answers. rough papers r provided, no scribbling on question paper is permitted and the question paper is returned bak.
Marking Scheme: theres no negative marking so if u run outta time juz mark all...the weightage given and the total apti marks m not aware...
Lemme list a few type questions in apti i remember:
1) in verbal find out the error in grammar sentences
2) Arrange the sentences in logical order
3) logical reasoning questions
4) in quant, questions on work, bodmas, simple equations
5) questions on data interpretation .
The second and third round is PI.Few PI questions i remember are listed as under:
1) why an MBA?
2) Why a shift from what u hv done in ur graduation (BE/BTECH, BSC, BA....etc) to an MBA?
3) Which domain in MBA do u wana gain an expertise in n y?
4) do u read newspapers? if yes wat do u read n whch newspaper do u follow?
5) give proper justification to wat u guyz hav mentioned in ur form as in if in weakness section u hv mentioned "short tempered" justify it ..as in how r u working on ur weakness n all...bottom line know wat is written in ur form n cum up wid proper justifications supporting ur answer.
6)situation based questions for eg: if u r in xyz situation ...what will u do?
7)where do u see urself 5 years hence?
what r ur hobbies? suppose u say music...whose ur icon in music...wat kinda music u like...classical/ light...., hv u taken training in it? if yes how many years n from where...
9)know ur graduation subjects quite well...if they ask watz ur favourite subject u need to ellaborate on it. All the engineers, questions r asked on wat u guyz did in ur final year engineering project.
The last round is a gd round:
u 'll b given 2 topics the majority vote is taken. If theres a tie the decision is given by the panelists:
the topics we had:
1) Behind every successful man derz a woman
2)If India is poorly governed the reason is that we hav designed our system of governance for protecting if not encouraging corruption.
3)what if India goes casteless?(this was of some other group)
During the gd give an opportunity to everyone for putting forward their points, dont b harsh in putting forward ur points and sound calm n confident both during the PI nad GD.
WELL, dont worry the entire process is chilled out one, u will b alloted groups..each group consists of 10-11 members and u hav group buddies to supervise and guide u all throughout........all d best puys do well!
