Today morning i was browsing through the PG as usual in my normal office hours and i came to see one really nice thread of Oldie PAGALS who have been on this excellent portal since 2004 and many of them since inception....
Was really amazed to see many of our mods and expert PAGALS and soo called PAGAL oldies to see there :).... I can remember some people and have come across them many a times like allwin, nikhilkulk, mahip, rmbt and many more important members,.....since i am somewhat new here, dont know most of them.....But must say these guys have really made tremendous effort to make this portal an excellent place for MBA wannabes and also who are ones.....
Now, i felt to create this thread (club) for all the pagals like me who have been here from jan 2007 and later..... I just felt the need to start up this thing cause, i just want to know from u all what all have u gained from this place and what all impact did it made in ur career moves like getting in ur favourite b-school or getting a decent interview prep or whatsoever......
It will be a really good idea according to me, if we all add our views on it and make our coming journey more exciting with the PG and get and give the most we can..
@ MODS and Oldie Pagals :),,,,,,,,This is just a initiative to make all new puys to come to one ground and share their experiences....

Lets discuss and share our journeys ( though we all are quite new here, so there wont be worth mentioning journey,,,,) through the PG.
well to start with, i'll share mine...
I started MBA entrance preps from jan-2006 and initially joined PG during aug 2006 as a mute observer and used to go through all the topics abt quant and verbal regularly. Then came the CAT 06 and all other exams and managed some couple calls, so again was quite active on the PG during feb-march..
Unfortunately, i was rejected in all the schools i got call from:( and so left PG for time being...
then came jun 07 and again i started my new relation with PG and here i am with it, browsing this most happening site during my peek office timings...
And must say, i am getting many new infos daily from PG and many people are here to help me and many many more like me to solve their dilemas of career and bschools or may be any relevent things.....
Surely PG rocks and many a times, i too ROCK with it........

Now my journey. I first became familiar with PaGalGuY around a couple of years ago around same time,when some friends/colleagues were quite addicted (are oldies now) kept talking about it often. I naturally checked (the name builds curiosity), liked it and forgot about it because I wasn't considering CA. Six month later when I was appearing for CET I used to surf without registering, post MH-CET again lost it.
When I came back to PG, this time it was straight to HQ, so no looking back
What I like about the forum is its true democracy! people do contribute to keep this place so clean and everyone you come across is so helpful.

"certification to le k rahunga....." coz getting certification here is easier than to get "JAVA-Certification".........:)

my story is similar to yours...have been surfing PG from around jan05...that was the time i took CET for the first time...but never bothered to create a login...but as i met more n more frds who were addicted to PG i thought of giving it a try....n now i cant get enough of this place....
