Assuming you have got the offer to join as IT and not ITIS :
1) Yes. The training will include one of the technologies mentioned by you. It is always better to have good idea about HTML, Javascript and Java. ILP is a little fast-paced. So, preparing beforehand is a good option.
2)Training will be followed by joining at your base branch. Gap can be 2-4days.
3) During training it will be, 13.5K with accomodation. 4K more without accomodation
After training, 22-23K.

there in no specific ITIS designation,every trainee shares the same grade i.e ASE -Trainee
i hve tcs ilp at pune sep end 2012... guys plz ans me... i want to do mba .. preparing for xams cuming in oct nov dec..
will i get time to studi during ilp.. many r saying it is hectic.. n all.. on an avg how much time will i get.. ?

u wont get enough time during ilp. its pretty hectic.
but dont worry, i was able to prepare eventhen.
i could manage 1-2hrs daily.
@preetyangel 1.) References may or may not be contacted but u will get a call regarding the same.
2.) Dont worry about anything, as the main aim of the ilp is itself to familiarize with languages.
the training they provide is more than enough. If possible just go through the basics of C++.
3.) They have an entry test, which is just a formality to check your knowledge.
Later u would be having diagnostics, to know your progress from time to time. If u dont fare well in those tests, they would just give you extra questions to practice. 4.) Yes u will be having a preilp schedule called ASPIRE. Which helps you to know the basics of programming language.
5.) Yes gals do have some restrictions but not as strict as for boys. just google it, you would get the links.
@triumph001 u can take a maxm of 2days leave in ilp....i would suggest u two use those 2leaves in taking nmat and nmat retake.....u just have 2tell them some other reason for leave.....inform dem in advance..
@chelseaboy one of my frnd was also havin' similar case...maths reappear in 10+2.......initially d recruitment head objected...but aftr some discussion nd healthy argument frm his side...he was allowed to appear nd got placed also.........i wud suggest...u shud speak to dem in person prior to or during pre-placement talk.....nd put sm gud reason...

It would be better to go through ASPIRE seriously because ILP is pretty fast-paced. You dont want to lag behind and not enjoy your weekends.

@manukk : Its not much hectic.. u can easily take 4-5 hours for study(my personal experience). Daily practise is not required. Study 2-3 day before exams but listen carefully in class..
@triumph001 U can postpone ur training. Some of my friends postponed it and joined after 7-8 months.. (talk to them and take everything in written with new date of joining.)

I have got an offer with TCS as ITA designation. (Iam into Infrastructure services and not into software). My Domain is storage and Backup with an experience of 4.5years. I would be joining TCS by Dec 2012. Here are my questions
1. I would like to know the Role of ITA inthe ITIS environment if it is a lead role/team member etc .. coz in HCL developement and ITIS designations differ a lot
2. Since Iam into ITIS, would like to know about the onsite oppourtunities ..
3. What about the shift allowance if any ..
