now where is this MANIPAL.

i m getting around 50-52 in CAT.

hey folks!!

I am very happy that i got my first call based on cat....

I lost all hopes and was really thinking about cat 2004.........

but even now I am a bit worried about the reputation of the institute and in dilemna whether i should go for admission (if i get in TAPMI ) or write cat again....

By the way i expected a score of 47 in CAT and right now i am preparing for my final semester exams which are commencing from 22 mar...

but guys though my exams will be over by mar 26 my project is scheduled for april 13 and my gd/pi is on april 15 and i live in visakhapatnam....

so will there be any option available to postpone gd/pi date?????

any suggestions???

hey guyss...first things first....congrats to all the call getters and best of luck for the GD/PI round..

cud u guys plz post in ur expected scores so that we mite have a wee bit idea bout the cut off for other institutes like MDI,etc.

Hey me toooooo . GD on 21st april .
I have got thru SCMHRD( IT & SYS). Hey sharmaricky could u please compare TAPMI with SCMHRD in the systems field and if TAPMI is gud... can u justify ?
I think there are some ppl who may have got thru symbi and would be useful with this info.

Got the gd/pi call on 21st April......

Score in QA/VR/DI is 13.5/20.25/19.5 Total 53.25

Guys my expected score is just 39 how come i got a call. Todays my lucky day. Hope team India has some luck defending 244 today.

what any body expecting tapmi call with a score of 39-40...
i got the call for such a score...iam absolutely taken aback...and didnt even check untill i was told....i surely made..it....
i guess they called everyone above 80 percentile..that only seems to me the obvious reason for my call....
anyways another factor that cud have been my side cud be my acad of 85% in chemical engg...
anyways...i have alrady paid fees for scmhrd ...so...
all the best to u all guys.....my interview is on 16th april which iam not attendidng....

ho ho..never worry for reputations..if u r a good students...a collgee like tapmi is cool enuf to see urself a salary of min 5 lakhs....

Hi Guys,
This information is for all Tapmi aspirants.. and as far as I am concerned this information hold good.
Well lets start with the infrastructure facilities, this is one area which is very important while selecting a b-school, the kind of infrastructure which Tapmi is going to have when you guys come in will be comparable to the best in the country, each student will be given a laptop supported with a wi-fi connection.
The placement season this year was really great big cos like infy, wipro, sify, asian paints, icici bank, titan, TVS-m,Polaris, TCS..etc were here with packages ranging from 3.5 - 7.5 lacs/yr.
As compared to other b-schools I myself left SCMHRD for Tapmi, but it is a personal choice because in terms of quality of education it is comparable to the IIM's, however it is NOT an IIM.
I can say that you can safely leave IMI, FORE, IMT, SIIB etc for TAPMI.
