initiating one...
I have gone through the last years GDPI Experience 2012-14 thread & have compiled
a list of topics & imp questions asked during the session...
Generic questions like Y MBA, Y TAPMI, Y THIS Y THAT have not been noted
for obvious reasons.... the ones who would like to know the answers to such questions can go thru the thread...

I would request PUYS to chip in few pointers for the topics posted here so it would be useful for us at the GDPI....
Also if anyone could contribute the latest topics from other college GDPI discussion threads its would be fantastic....

@manash9078 it is certainly not an indicator of how good a manager u r..but it is an indiacator of ur aptitude level..which is indeed required in a good manager..
nd cat/xat doesn't check how good a manager u r ..u r not suppose to be..it checks how good manager u can become with proper education!!

ya, agreed with your view that is cat/xat doesnt indicate ones managerial abillities, but couldnot make out how cat/xat score can check how good a manager one can become??

@manash9078 See exams like CAT/XAT test ur time management, ur awareness, ur decision making skills, ur aptitude level and many other attributes which u would like to see in d future manager. So if u have all these attributes at a good level..there are more chances of u becoming a better manager...hope now u agree

Yes CAT/XAT score are indicators of a manager's ability..If we analyze the CAT and XAT, The Reading comprehension section test the reading ability of a potential manager. The Quantitative Ability Section tests the Mathematical Skills and Data Interpretation section tests the ability of a future manager in analyzing large chunks of data, The Decision Making section of the XAT puts the candidate in the hot-seat and checks how good he actually is in making critical decisions.

1. The new thread started by me is just a genuine attempt to get some discussion started for GDPI preparations..
2. It IS NO WAY AN OFFICIAL THREAD BY THE COLLEGE/COLLEGE STUDENTS..
3. IT IS ONLY FOR THE DISCUSSION OF TOPICS FOR THE PREPARATION OF GDPI..
4. Hope it serves as a repository for fellow aspirants...

Probably might be.! But a good % can keep your chances ahead of others regarding the composite score of GD & CAT Score. All the Best Bro.!
