@ people who haven't yet received acknowledgement mails for their DDs, dont worry, you'll get them soon.. Call them up and confirm that they have received it or not..also track your letter through the courier/post's website..
I received an email for my first instalment before the due date, and an email for the 2nd one after the due date..
If you have sent a scanned copy of the DD to Jyothi ma'am, i don't think it will be much of a problem if your letter reaches a little late.. Though I'm not too sure about this bit of info.. Do confirm with the admissions office.

I really hope they have a good reason for postponing the results everyday. It would have been better had they just told us that the result will be delayed by a week....but promising to release it everyday and not doing so. I think something is up.

bang on buddy..but how much ever we scream here..its of no use...that the sad part...sometimes life sucks...thats it ...
well we all understand that TAPMI may be having difficulty with AICTE and the logistics of declaring the results of a huge batch. I'm sure they are doing their best to speed it up BUT the one thing they are doing wrong is torturing aspirants with empty assurances. Instead of always saying tomorrow, tomorrow, if they just said a week or 2 weeks, at least people wont log onto their site everyday with high hopes and then get disappointed again and again. I just wish they would stop doing that. Giving people false hope is not right

May be AICTE approval for all the courses are just around the corner....

A piece of advice:
Stop calling TAPMI from now on and disturbing your peace of mind.
Just wait for updates from seniors in this thread! They've been exceptionally supportive till now, so if you can't trust the college, atleast trust them!

yes agree with you seniors have been really helpful..here we are venting out our fury regarding the delays....I am sure they completely understand our situation....
Its not their duty to reply to all our doubts..even during their interns..and then take our calls too.... giving out all the info we need and more....

There are no "winters" as such in Manipal. However, you may feel a little cold in the classroom, esp during the rains because of the AC
Maybe a light jacket (if you hav one already) wud be handy.You guys will have a week's holiday sometime in the month of Sep/Oct after the 1st term. You may go to ur hometowns at that time after ur "OUTBOUND"

tried ma level best to convince my mngr for relieving me on 28 june but he says a big NO NO NO . wont be able to attend the frst few days i guess.
as we all are in middle of something like this can a favour be asked from admissions authority to postpone the classes by a week or so .so that max strength which is suffering from the disease of notice period can be there on time ..
suggestions needed ..........

Hmm.. I agree tat few of us do have this problem.. But I am afraid they wont postpone the classes for us, as they would have planned the entire term based on this start date..
At max, we can ask for personal exceptions for joining a few days later.. That too I dont think we will be allowed more than a week's time..
But if you want to give it a try by requesting them, then we can put together a list of people in need of this delay..

This is something which would be helpful as many people are still awaiting for their results and when the result comes out to be +ve for them, they would also submit their papers and start serving the notice period. (I am assuming that those who havnt yet got the confirmed result have not resigned from their company)
But the other side of the coin is that few who have got their admission confirmed, would have booked train/plane tickets according to 1st July joining. So they would suddenly need to reschedule.
Yes it feels bad to miss a few classes at the start but there is no way out as we definately not want to leave the company on a bad note. We want a smooth exit after working for years. So I beleive its best to try at both ends: TAPMI as well as your company.
If company people agree: GREAT
If they dont, then put a written request to TAPMI by showing the relevant docs and properly explaining your genuine reason.
