hey sandeep give some suggestion on how we can we make it happen as in how do we initiate!!

we can create an open spreadsheet and record the names and CAT reg numbers/Tapmi form numbers or PM our names and CAT reg numbers/Tapmi form numbers to one guy.then he can draft a mail and list every1 in that and send it to Jyoti mam..

in this spreadsheet lets fill up the data of every wait list person who wana b part of this initiative in the "Tapmi wait list number request" tab..let it be open till Monday and then we can draft the mail and send..

Try calling admission office..
If you request and the reason is genuine, they can give you an idea about whether you can expect your name in the next list or not..
I'm told that my name is low in PGDM waitlist...so it will take long time to clear:banghead::banghead: and I stand a chance in BFS & IB list(which they'll release after 20th may)..so m waiting for the BFS and IB list now which is my last hope...

Have the people who got converted on May 11th confirmed their acceptance via email ?if yes whats the mail id ,where we need to send confirmation?

Thanx.. who did you talk to? .. and dont you think if each one of the waitlisted guys started calling them up (even with a genuine reason), they'l think this might be a group initiative.. as it is, they told me during the PI they know of Pagalguy and even told me a few usernames :shock: You got the advantage of doing something none of us had done before:D so you had the first mover advantage here..

Maybe if one amongst us took up the issue on behalf of everyone OR we mail our concern individually to one particular email ID (be it Sudeep sirs').. they might rethink.. or the spreadsheet as is planned thus far..

You are absolutely right.. it took me 300 seconds to decide whether I should write about my conversation here or not. So I'm not going to tell about the person I talked to. He knows my name (which happens to be my PG ID ..:banghead:)He would kick me out before taking me in..
But PG and the users in this thread have given me so much directly or indirectly and I do understand how it feels waiting.That's the reason I informed u people. Spreadsheet idea is good. Hope it works out.. Anyway all they teach during MBA is 'Team Work'.

There is another way SIR which helps you find a particular detail on PG.
Using 'SEARCH' button..
I know it would take a second or two to have a look at the picture attached. But SIR, it would surely give you all the contact details.

I am in total agreement with you. It will help us in deciding our course of action.There is no point wtng if you know that you are w8listed at 600(just an example).Don't know whats going on and whats holding them back from disclosing the w8list no.s

hey puys...i have been following this thread from the initial daz..i m too w8listed as few of you are..i have a suggestion for the people in the same boat as me....y dont we take form a group among ourselves(read w8listed candidates) and send the institute a formal request for our W8list no.

OKay...a revelation....
had called up the admissions....

the second list may have around 150 ppl...this is wat i cud understand
("remaining list has around 150 names")

the waitlisted people who finally converted on 11/05,assuming that they were around 100 in number, total waitlisted candidates (initially) might be around 250 roughly..

also, due to delay from AICTE the approvals are getting delayed and that is y they are holding back the list for other courses...

28th is the day; they can't really say how many will accept or reject the offers so they have kept 27th as the last date of submission for the installments for the converted list...

lets hope for the best...

this is all nonsense ..... not providin w8list numbers is crap ..... wat transparency they r showin n wat example these guys r setting ...and we r supposed to learn management here...roflmao ...hehe

1. We received the offer letter within 2-3 days of announcement of results.

2. If you have paid ur 1st instalment and then want to opt out before paying ur 2nd instalment, then Rs. 20,000 would be deducted and u would get Rs. 80,000.
If you want to opt out after paying ur 2nd instalment, then a sum of Rs. 40,000 would be deducted and u would be returned a sum of Rs. 2,70,000.

You can avail of this amount by opting out of the process by 25th June.
If you opt out after 25 June, you will be returned only the caution money, ie, Rs. 15,000.

3. Along with the offer letter, you will be receiving an Initial Acceptance Letter, which you need to sign and send along with the DD. No other documents are req'd to be sent.

If you do not trust the Indian Post, then you can send them a courier, provided those courier companies cater to Manipal. Some such courier companies are Blue Dart, DTDC, Firstflight etc.
U may also take a scan of your DD and send it to one of these email ids :

I agree... TAPMI is very slow in giving out the waiting list... Who knows ? Final admission list may be out only in July

Hmm seeing all of the W/L people tensed up, I would just like to add something.
This extra addition i mean AICTE approval is purely a Sarkari stuff :banghead:,So I guess sooner or Later ,Its going to be approved(Bit of speculation from my side based on other college Intake increase Announcements without official AICTE approval)
So i guess +60 are in for sure,I guess Tapmi is erring on side of caution as once declared and if due to some reason it doesn't happen it may dent their brand
but for other courses Approval not that Confident.I guess if the waiting list is really only 150 more then a decent chance of conversion for even PGDM Keep Cheerful n keep having fun

Even IIMs, call themselves best MBA institute in India (although they are nowhere in top 75 MBA colleges in the world), and outsource CAT to stupid PROMETRIC.. No answer key.. nothing... :banghead:

Congrats IIM students... Hope you ROT IN HELL with all the courses and assignements :clap:

Even I m on waitlist and in complete darkness like you all.. I do agree tat Waitlists could have been managed in a better manner... But taking a dig at the college is something which can be avoided... As suggested earlier in the thread, we can try and make a list and request them for waitlist numbers.. Cribbing is not gonna help...

N reg IIMs... Before commenting, pls think for a moment tat we are not gud enough to make it to an institute which is not even in the top 75 of the world... We hold no rights to abuse things which we cudnt achieve... n finaly this is not the thread to crib about CAT and IIMs... Please dont spam..
