Since Geoinformatics basically is geography Information Technology .Being a CSE Grad is actually going to help you while doing this course.
No it wont be a problem at all as MSc is also a PG course, its just that the name is different and getting a brand name of Symbiosis will only help you..
@abh_shuklaSymbiosis holds a unique position amongst all the Symbiosis institutes because :
It specialises in only one field i.e., Geoinformatics..which makes it a sole and market leader in the field. So instead of being a jack in many trades you can be the master in one.
Hey I have a deep interest in the field of geology and all cool stuff, such as satellites of earth, volcanoes and snow, does subjects such as Geosciences(1st sem) or GPS or other such subjects will help me in knowing all this stuff???
What about the placements at SIG, will I be placed in any such company??
@PatrickDsz .. Obviously, SIG focussing on Geo-Informatics will certainly focus on these areas ...and as you have interest in these ..you must fill the form as soon as possible... :P
how to make my parents make up their mind that I am going to have a degree in MSc. after BSc, they wished that at least now I should go for a good degree(so called MBA)
they are asking me to take a drop, can I confidently say to them that its the masters from symbiosis and has the same worth as other masters degrees from symbiosis
