The last one year has been the most productive year for me in terms of learning and new experiences. The major contributor has been my decision to join 1 year management program at Sunstone Business School which aims to create technology leaders and is targeted at high quality and experienced working professionals in technology industry irrespective of educational background.
Our batch started in July 2011 - the course structure was to have full day contact program every 3rd Saturday and in between do *lots* of individual and coursework coordinated with the help of learning portal and group calls.
To give you idea of effort required in first few weeks itself we had prepared our first business plan along with self recorded elevator pitch and presented it to VC's from Sequoia Capital.
Since then we have been coached, mentored by course coordinators - on practical aspects of management.
