Provide me following information regarding SSC Junior Engineers Examination, 2017- 1. Number of vacancies. 2. Date of publishing marks for the descriptive paper, held on April 29, 2018. 3. Reason for not updating the marks of descriptive paper till date. 4. Reason why SSC has decided not to upload the list of marks of all candidates in pdf format as it was done earlier. In response to this, they've ducked all the questions except the number of vacancies.

You are eligible for document verification only if your eligiblity certificate is dated before 01/01/2018.
I am 2017 batch and my degree certificate was issued in 11/1/2018, but they used the date in my provisional certificate.
So 2017 batch students need not worry. But if any 2018 batch student eligible for DV please look it up before going for DV. I think that 2018 batch students are not eligible.
Some have asked previosly that, if final year students were eligible to apply for JE. In this case even if you qualify tier 2 you may get eliminated in DV.
P.S- I am stating this from my experience in DV if I am wrong please let me know.
