QID : 1118 - A rod with a length of 100 cm and diametre of 4 cm undergoes an axial pull of 50 kN. What is the stress (in N/mm2)? 

Wrong option is given as the answer (Answer is 40 N/mm2 but given answer is 4 N/mm2)


QID : 1145 - What is the dryness fraction (x) of a saturated liquid-vapour mixture?

Answer given is 0 (its actually for saturated liquid only). but for a liquid vapour mixture dryness fraction varries from 0 to 1. It's not given in the option.


QID : 1176 - Which of the following is an example of phenomenon surface tension?

[Options:

1) Rain drops

2) Rise of sap in a tree

3) Break up of liquid jets

4) All option are correct]

Given answer is 'all options are correct'. But rise of sap in a tree is capillary effect not surface tension. So the answer is rain drops.
