Most respectfully I beg to say that please provide opportunity for changing preference of post for SSC JE 2016 AT THE TIME OF DOCUMENT VERIFICATION.
Otherwise it will lead to student with less marks getting the job while student with more marks wont get it as many has not filled all the options due lack of awareness about posts.
in ssc je 2015 you have given the opportunity of change of prefernce so please do it same for ssc je 2016.

bhai logo mera ak pref choot gya hai cpwd(electrical) b/c misunderstanding ab kya dobara fil kar sakte hai
ssc je 2016 ki document verification ki date kb tak aa jayegi friends?
In my opinion ,ssc provide je 2015 students to change their preference bcz of the addition of bro seats after pre examination.. that means a new department is added but there is no such case in je 2016
Preference doesn't mean they won't consider you for post.
If your rank is better than the vacancy number, they will give you the department seat which ever is left at last, after considering other rankers preference.

With due respect I want to say that Kindly provide opportunity for changing preference of post for SSC JE 2016 AT THE TIME OF DOCUMENT VERIFICATION.Because In many posts It is not mentioned which branch can apply for, like
1.POST CODE- H, (JE ,Quality Surveying and contract, MES), it is not mentioned for which branch.
2. FARRAKKA BARRAGE PROJECT is only for civil and Mechanical since it is mentioned with code. but in Tentative vacancy list 2 vacancy for Electrical branch. how can an Electrical person is selected if no code is there for it.
3. We are not much familiar about the job challenges and all, at the time of form filling. Once exam is cracked we begin to search about the various job description and which is suitable for us.

bhai ye jo post preference wala jo sab chal raha hai isme sab ssc ke control me hai. hum agar case bhi karenge to 100% confirm hai ki ssc hi jitega. wo bhi 1st ya 2nd hearing mein. kyuki isme ssc ki koi galti nahi hai. baki mail karo ya case karo agar ssc walo ka man hua to hi karenge warna kuch nahi ho sakta.
