imd should have mention the word clearly....that B TECH  ARE NOT ALLOWED...in the notification there is no word... for making the money from the students they are...not mentioned in the notification..... after applying ...they are saying that b tech are not eligible.... then Criminal case should be filed against IMD and ssc....for cheating Lakhs of unemployes.....

SSC SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT IS GROUP-B NON GAZETED POST...so for GroupB post there must Be degree...is minimum Qualification...As per the central govt rules...If Btech not allowed we can file a case....so many litigations....are there if btech is not allowed... in imd ngsu(non gazeted staff union ) also approved btech as qualification for Scientific assistant..

I called SSC KKR Head quarters before applying into IMD SA post to know about Btech eligibility criteria . They said ' Is there any sentence like 'BTECH are not allowed ' in the notification , I replyed No....Then He said You are eligible for this degree level post. I think thats why many Btech graduates applied and spend lot of time and energy to get this JOB. But now.......?   Feeling depressed...

Next time government notifies vancies it should make to two long couloms. In coulom1 all the courses which satisfy prescribed eligibility criteria should be specified .In coulom 2 all the courses which does not meet stipulated criteria should be enumerated. As we are not good enough to interpret a notification properly even after clarafication.
