Puys it's a good initiative by q-maths to collect the marks of all the candidates. Please support it by giving your genuine marks.It will only help us in determining our ranks and thus prepare for tier-3 accordingly. Otherwise at last we will repent. It's really bad on part of SSC that it had choosen not to disclose marks of all the candidates. But with concerted and sincere efforts we can all work it out. Money on which tax is not paid to government is called black money. It is the primary issue various economies are facing. The govt incurs huge revenue loss in the form of black money and it has spreaded like a disease in the whole world especially in developing countries like India.
Countries like Switzerland and Panama have stricter laws of privacy and data security and hence the govt there do not disclose the name of foreign account holders and their monetary details and therefore these countries act as tax havens since tax evaders from around the world can easily deposit their money.
Indian govt is trying to sign MoUs with all such countries to declare the name of Indian accountholders. One problem govt is facing that people are more vigilant now and ask govt about the steps taken by it to curb black money but as per the treaty with countries like Switzerland, Indian govt can not disclose the names and hence populism politcs is affected.
Along with signing treaties, govt is taking steps that will help in curbing black money in long term. GST is one such act which has digitized every transaction and made it easy for govt to track if tax has been paid on a good or service or not. Other acts like SARFAESI and RERA are also implemented to help in curbing black money. GST, SARFAESI and RERA are the steps that more than helping in short term, will help in choking the generation of black money.
Black money is the monstrous problem, our economy is facing and it has choked the development to an extent along with accounting for huge revenue loss to government. Govt is taking steps in right direction but it needs to implement those plans in action to see the change in current scenario.
