Can someone please explain this difference.
A Retailer cheats to an extent of 10% while buying and selling. Find his profit percent?
For this type of question, at many places i found the formula as (10+10+(10*10/100)) = 21%
But if we solve it, then I am ending up at a different answer.
Consider 100 units for 100 rupees
During Buying:
Buys 110 units for 100 rupees
During selling:
Sells 90 units for 100 rupees
SP of 110 units = (100*110/90) = 1100/9
So finally for 110 units
CP = 100
SP = 1100/9
Profit % = 200/9 = 22.22%
