Hey gcuys I had my cbt and dest today at delhi..!! I am just sharing an overview who are yet to give this test:
Items to bring at examination hall without fail:
-a photo
-verification certificate(2 pages given by ssc on document verification)
-admit card
-identity card
The test comprise of speed test, microsoft excel and microsoft powerpoint projects. Each comprise of 15 mins .
Speed test : Initially an example passage will be given where you will asked to type . If you face any difficulty in keyboard or mouse, you can ask the invigilator and get it relaced. The actual test has 2000 characters to be typed in 15 minutes . For me, the passage was related to a bill and trust they used typical english words where you need to watch each character while typing. Neverthless,this is the easiest one and almost everyone finished it well within 12 minutes. I devoted the rest of my time making corrections. Word of advice: dont start making correction then and there itself . instead finish your passage and then correct the errors. Just be calm and you can finish this up easily.
SpreadSheet(MS Excel) Test:Here we were asked to reproduce a table as it was given in the question paper.Also, using simple calculation like subtraction and percentage calculation(just google and check this out if you dont know).Apart for this font size style changing, border creation, header footer creation ,merging and deleting cells, wraping, centre right left aligning.Remember this test is of 15 mins so having a fair idea before exams will definitely help you.
Powerpoint Test  Here also we were asked to produce a slide as it was mentioned . For us we had two boxes one for title and other for subtitle.Furtther important thngs: border creation,bulleting, header footer creation, bold , underline .

My brother missed the document verification date for SSC CGL .. it was 22nd for him but by mistake he read 24th and went today. He got to know later that the date was 22nd.
Is it possible that the verify the docs now? Will anybody hear now?? :(
