SSC CGL 2016 notification is out.
Staff Selection Commission will release an official notification regarding the Schedule of the Combined Graduate Level exam , 2016 (Tier I). This notification will be published in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar dated 13th Feb, 2016.
As per the upcoming notification the SSC CGL 2016 Tier I will be held on 8th & 22nd, 2016 (Sunday).

Hi All,
I'm new to PG and taking SSC CGL prep for the first time.
I have a question regarding physical tests for Inspector/Examiner posts.
The notice says -
"Eyesight (with or without glasses)
Distant vision : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
Near vision 0.6 in one eye
and 0.8 in other eye"
So, the eye tests can be performed while wearing glasses as well?

Just gone through CGL notification, thinking will apply for it. It looks like exam scheme is quite biased, it is in favor of engineering students. In Tier II which may be the deciding exam, there are only Maths and English . . . No GS like other exams. What the hell. Very bad for poor fellas like me who is bad in Maths. A large extent makeover is required in the exam pattern to give all a level playing field. #cglsucks
