Puys anticipation may give mental satisfaction but we all know that in the end, SSC jo cut off dega wo hi maan na padega..we can not predict this year's cut off based on prev year trends & some opinions by small samples. There are many people who don't even use PG, FB or other groups and still score good marks. Paper was a little on above average side compared to last year but that does not mean it was very tough. Some people are scoring a lot of marks, some are getting lesser compared to last year and some are just bluffing. So we must not engage in unhealthy discussions just for the sake of proving ourselves right about our prediction. May we all make into the final list.

when will the marks of tier 2 be released? is it after tier 2 result or after final result?

Lets imagine a hypothetical situation. 

Lets say there are 100 vacancies to be filled by a particular exam and 48 seats are reserved for general candidates, rest obviously are reserved. Lets say an OBC candidate gets more marks than general cut off. Will he take the seat of a general candidate or he would get a seat under his quota only.

Putting it in simpler terms, will out of 48 general candidates only 47 get selected?  

P.S. - If yes, can such things be challenged successfully in the court of law ?

i was studying from kiran chapterwise book, which has lot of errors.
