Comments on Recommendations made by Expert Group on SSC CGL
Hello sir,
I have read the recommendation of expert group.
In
my opinion Tier 1 should be of qualifying nature only and tier-2 should
consist of only 2 papers (i.e the same way as ssc conducts in present)
paper-1 Quantitative aptitude (200)
paper-2 English comprehension.(200)
Tier-1 can be made online but Tier-2 should be of paper pencil mode.
There should be normalization of scores in tier-1 so that difficulty
level is maintained but tier-2 should be conducted on single day on pan
India basis. In tier-1 the number of students declared qualified should
depend on the number of vacancies (i.e 7-8 times the number of
vacancies). These recommendation should be applied from ssc-cgl
2014 onwards as we know there is large difference in difficulty level of
ssc-cgl tier-1 exam conducted on 19th and 26th Oct 2014 in FN&AF
sessions to avoid litigations.

what do you guys think, will CGL T2 14 be postponed? I am asking because i have to plan up some work and could not be worked out due to uncertainty. or is it too early to predict that exam will be postponed or not?
