Difference between 'A number of' and 'The number of':-
A Number of is always followed by plural verb while The number of is always followed by singular verb.
E.g-> The number of people in this city is very cruel .
A number of people in this seminar are intelligent.
Difference between Onto and On to :-
Onto is used in such cases :- On top of, to a position on , upon , also use when fully aware of, informed about.
e.g-> He climbed onto the roof.
I m onto your plan.

e.g--> I don't use those products that are not natural.
I don't use artificial products , which appeared in TV channels.
which is preceded by commas due to non-essential clause because when we remove non-essential clause , then sentence makes a complete meaning.
If this,that,those,these are already used , then we may use which.
e.g-> that is a decision which you must live with.
