they will take 9.5 hours to complete whole work.
in 1st 2 hours the work done is = 1/8+1/12 =5/24
similarly after 8 hours the work done will be = 5*4/24 = 20/24
so the remaning work will be = 1-20/24 = 4/24=1/6
now it is the turn of ganga to work in 9th hour so thw work done by him in 9th hour will be = 1/8
so remaining work after 9 hours = 1/6-1/8 =1/24
so saraswati will take half hour to complete the work becoz she completes 1/12 work in one hour.
so total time taken will be 9.5 hours.
so the work will be completed finally by saraswati after 9.5 hours i.e. at 6:30 PM
