21st Feb Prelims : 167.50 Maths : There were very conceptually testing questions in every section , few(especially which had a large font size) geometry questions were difficult. Trigonometry questions couldn't be done with value assumption, needed conventional methods . There were a lot of questions from quadratic which were lengthy. Also there were many questions in which comparison of fractions was asked which also were time consuming. These things apart , there were also many sitters here and there which could be hunted. What was frustrating was the nature of DI asked which had numbers larger than a phone number and data was quite huge ( many students saying that it was wrong , didn't attempt, so no idea as such. I think SSC won't entertain that number of absentee were given while ℅ was mentioned in the table , c'mon it's common sense ) , I know everyone thinks that their shift is the toughest, that's human psychology , but this paper seemed genuinely difficult to me , but the fact is students will still score highly and cutoff won't move beyond 20 marks. Not to mention that answers of 3 questions had no answer in the options and it would be great if SSC could be more careful with the use of brackets in the questions. Attempts: 74 English: Questions were scattered as usual but this section was comparable to any testbook mock . All questions were doable as such . Only a couple of Idioms and a few cloze tests could have posed some problem if any. According to me it was genuinely easy but the fact about this section is you never know until the results are out. Attempts: 200 I know this was the last day and this review won't help but I just felt like posting.
Some of you have started attempting the first set of question paper today. Then later paper was changed. Which question paper will you consider relatively easy?

Got 133 in tier 1..everyone said tier 2 is the real game changer so prepared accordingly..there was always that pressure of performing above average.. And that is where it all started to fall off..xam pressure got to me and how..first attempt and it taught me a lot..end of cgl journey.. Just a tip for those who are serious about cgl 2018 prepare well for tier 1..this is the real game changer.. U can Ill afford to leave it to tier 2..or else its gonna be painful Regarding luck..government exams have become a lottery..but that's the nature of the game.. Merely participating isn't enough u have to compete..and have to be at the top of ur game every time
