I think SSC will maintain level of difficulty in tier 2 shifts unlike tier 1... difficulty level of papers in tier 1 varied bcoz of wrong assumption that maths section easy = gk section easy.

Paper was hard.. last year mere math me 153.5 aaye the ..Aur iss baar kewal 65 attempt kr paya hu ..18 /2/2018 Bahut jyada calculative paper aaya hai..Aur question bhi repeat ni kar rahi ab ssc... Table wala question bahut he calculative aur hard tha..

study only the basic formula... tats enough... practice calculation... speed speed more speed chahiye... max 65 attempts possible

after reading all the reviews from candidates / websites (Tube/qmath) we can conclude that today's paper is a bit easier (by 5-7 attempts) overall diff in difficulty level could be around 10-15 marks (I could be wrong too .. just an assumption) But atleast candidates are psychologically well prepared for this level after yesterday's disaster !!!

My exam was on 17th feb .
Prelims score meagre 142.5 .
Was so sad after exam that couldn't gave any review. But writing it today to vent out the deep buried regrets.
Maths: I completely ruined it 64 attempts. Even did silly mistakes and marked wrong even the easiest ones. Expecting only ~100. Actually in previous years usually 70-80% questions used to be easy. This time only 50% are easy. New questions require quite a brainstorming and attempting 30-40 new questions in examination hall in limited time is a tough task that's why paper is tough. But if now I will look at the paper sitting at home it might appear easy or moderate to me due to stress free environment and ample time. Arithmetic was easy. Advance was tough particularly geometric. DI which used to be a piece of cake was hell lot calculative.
English: I did 10× more prep of maths than english. But English proved to be a saving grace. Was expecting ~150. But after exam i can expect 150+ or even 160+. All the reviews regarding English were not absolutely correct. So mine are as below
1. Narration Voice was easy hardly any special case.
2. Passage and Cloze passage of usual level.
3. Fe and sentence correction I found it easy but it's subjective. Sometimes you get the error and sometimes you can't. This can't be termed as easy or tough.
4. And the main part vocab. Yes it's 100% new. But 50% was still doable. Because people have posted tough words that were asked but not the options. In some vocab questions options were such that you can easily eliminate 3 options and the one left should has to be correct. Idioms I guessed based making my own logics that may fail.
5 Most imp thing everything was jumbled. But trust me jumbling has done no harm you can easily attempt paper don't worry of jumbling. Just keep on skipping passage and cloze passage and attempt other things first.
My mistakes: I relied heavily on previous year questions and moderate level questions. Did only testbook. As I have heard CAT level prep is not required. Should have tried some harder series.
P.S.- Please don't write any consoling comments. Whatever happened was my own fault. You people have genuinely prepared and gave quality mocks you needn't worry. All the very best and sorry for such a long post. And sorry for erratum if any as i haven't checked.
