although I was not in favour of postponement of recruitment exams, the situation has gone out of hand. It's better to wait till the effect of pandemic recedes. I had my CAPF Physical test followed by medical test on 13th April at Noida. The next day we were called for remaining medical tests at Referral Hospital CAPF Noida. During the process, out of suddem, the eye-specialist left the examination and went away, and later it was told to us that she had Covid symptoms...The next 2 days we were called and remaining tests took place. Eye test is still pending and now the whole process has been postponed. Meanwhile one of the guys from our group of 17 people contracted Covid, putting all others in danger zone. It has been 7 days since, so far so good. No symptoms. But Covid has spread drastically this time. Almost every household in Delhi has a Covid patient. Limited lockdown followed by vaccination seems to be the only way to curb this now. Still a lot to do....probably will take another year or two to eradicate this mΔdarchod Chinese virus.Joining from CGL also seems to be a distant reality now.
