HELP REQUIRED from veterans, newbies, anybody who has any idea on the matter.
Here's the dealio. My marks in 2018 570. Priority : home posting. After analyzing the statewise vacancies of all posts and previous year's state allocation, I have reached the conclusion TA CBIC would be my best bet. Specifically Customs, since I live in state capital, and most cutoms offices in my zone are in state capital. Now here's the catch. I heard from an unreliable source, that customs dpt has heavy tranfers. Almost as bad as CGDA and I would be transferred often. Can somebody please confirm/deny this ? Anybody who is a TA in CBIC, or knows anybody who is, please tell me the transfer policy of TA and what would my safest bet to stay in home city for as long as possible. I would really appreciate any help I can get.
