I rarely post on this group and never about politics but this time it really hits close to home. The lack of reasoning and thorough analysis of the farm bills is disheartening, coming from future public servants. But much worse is the lack of empathy towards farmers.

Hi everyone! I need some advice regarding CGL 18. (Please dont bash me unnecessarily!)
I am getting AIR 58 in CGL 18. This means I can get any post. I am preparing for UPSC, so I thought to opt for CSS. Status of CPT centre for CR just arrived. I will have to travel to Kanpur, but I cant waste any time because I have my UPSC Mains from 8th January.
So, now I am left in a dilemma whether to give CPT or not. I can get ITI, but what are the cities in which you get posted? (I am from Agra) And if I dont get selected through UPSC, will I be able to prepare further?

For sure I wont get MEA with 166 marks in quants. A lot of students are getting good marks in maths in my shift. Based on RBE'S survey my expected rank was 300-500 (Normalised marks was around 592). My tier 3 went very bad. Wrote essay in about 320 words. Even, I wrote a bit off-topic. Don't want to prepare for UPSC as I am not good in GS plus I want a bit relaxed life with less responsibilities. Right now m taking some tuition classes for mental peace and some extra bucks.
My ques is Shall I take rest for 2-3 months and prepare for cgl20 for these posts??
I don't want DA(Remote postings), Ministerial Posts(Pollution in Delhi), IOP(worst 4600gp), GST(promotional aspects are not that good).
