Hi, Recently the ssc chsl published its results of the tier 2 exam. I had high hopes because i had done well in the first round with 154, but unfortunately, my marks were reduced to just 45 and a total of just 199. I have two questions to ask here, 

1) how do i prevent this from happening for ssc cgl

2) why is the marking for tier 2 so strict :( ??

When grade pays were being formulated, the clerical guy went in multiples of 400 like 2400, 2800. He however made a carry mistake at 4200 (instead of 3200(2800+400))and went on adding 400 thereby getting gp 4600, 5000, 5400. However, 5000 was later removed as it had 3 zeroes and was too simple. Please note that no grade pays exist between 2800 and 4200. Later, a new gp 4800 was added by doubling 2400. 5400 gp seats are not filled through CGL.
