If you look at ssc normalisation formula ... Ssc takes avg of top 0.1 percent of each shift.
IN pre 0.1 is huge and good candidates are spread over large number of shifts. However, in MAINS 0.1 of each shift is 40-50 students only. Now in SSC MATHS mains I believe there are 40-50 such good student in each shift who can easily do 90 + Q's. So we are all ducked. Can anyone file rti in respect of last year's mains shift wise selected candidates.Bach Gaya BC! Even though I won't get anything from CGL18 due to my poor T3 marks, it's comforting to know that you were actually given UFM and then acquitted!!!
As per Ramo sir's tier 1 survey analysis, the difference between my shift and easiest shift was 12 marks, but my marks were increased by 26 after normalisation... I am not saying he is wrong, I want to say that it is very difficult to predict without having entire data... So calm your minds and prepare for tier3 well... All the best

It seems there were double the amount of candidates appearing in 16th shift when compared to 15th or 18th. This kind of skewed attendance will also affect Normalisation heavily. Same was the case last year too. Why can't they just equally distribute candidates in all 3 shifts? Hadd bakchodi Hain!

I have changed my opinion now and I think now that the final cutoff for all posts will increase by 25-30 marks from Cgl18 predictions. Excise at 605 for UR & 585 for EWS hopefully.
