When can we expect marks ?
As the cutoff of tier 2 to tier 3 of list 4 has been increased from 433 to 512. Increment of 79 marks in tier 3 was to required. Can we assume that this time, avg marks in tier 3 is given around 70. Because I'm sure that my marks is more than 61.

I need some advice.i got my name in list 4.i belong to obc category.and when i enquired about my caste certificate i found that i had state issued caste certi and for dv i need central issued certificate.my father is group c employee.his salary is more than 8 lac per annum .what should i do ? I have read some where that central govt employee salary does not affect your status for creamy or non creamy
Candidates below 27 yr age as on Aug 2018 are eligible for all posts. But candidates above 27 yr age as on Aug 2018 are not eligible for gp 2800 and gp 2400. Suppose in list 3 there are 2500 candidates with age above 27 yr but out of them 1500 candidates are having low marks I.e. up to 556 then if they do not get post above gp 4200 and they are also not eligible for post with gp 2800 and gp 2400. In this case there will be chances for some list 4 candidates to get the job.
My prediction Css - 580 Ta - 545 Mea - 615 ITI - 617 Excise - 565 Excise (delhi ) - 585 Dont say isme kam btayi hai. Itni kam nhi ja skti nd all. Wl see when d final result comes.
I'm not against reservation but it should help the needy people it can't go on an on for years now . Government should take every beneficiary under surveillance and when their income is say 4-5lakh pa or whatever government thinks is sufficient to live a healthy life then their reservation should end this is the only way government can end reservation I've seen people who belongs to sc/st category and they carry an iPhone and a bullet do they need reservation??? I don't think so .

I chose SSC CGL as a backup option in case of failure after exhausting 5-6 attempts of UPSC. But unfortunately, I did not realise at that moment that there would arise a need to keep another backup of this backup. Hence, now I'm involved in 10 other exams as well. And looking at the scenario, I feel that I would've already joined somewhere by the time final joining of SSC comes. In future if some aspirant asks me about SSC, I'd strictly advise him/her to rather focus his attention on something more productive and less frustrating.
Now how many genuine souls over here who are now satisfied with CGL 2018 seeing their roll number in the list and won't give CGL 2019?? Bhagwan unka bhala kare...kyunki lyf me satisfied hona bhi zaruri hai

For those who don't get any post or feel low due to non selection.... Trust me this is just a nice competitive part of your life, after this, you'll end up making more money or will have more lavish life. I didn't get selected in any post and it definitely made me sad, but belief in Mahadev led me to a better life now. I earn requisite money, live with my Mother & Father happily. CGL 17 496.5 marks -- Rank around 15K+ 524.5 marks -- Rank 4613 UR TA CBIC Means 30 marks around 10.5K+ CGL 18 512 Marks - Rank around 16.5K 518 Marks - Rank around 15K Last selected Candidate in CGL 18 would have rank around 6.5K 539 Marks - Rank around 9200 547 Marks - Rank around 6500 But CGL 17 factor and Age 27+ , (Marks - 3) Final Cutoff -- 547-3 = 544 So, IMO cutoff may be under 544 for CGL 18.

Someone has asked why people choose ssc over banking. I also ask same question to myself why I am still preparing for other exam after working for 4 years as officer in bank of india. So here is the list of what I think 1. Hectic - you have to work for long hours. 8 hours is rare and its generally 9 to 10 in general days. During closing audit be ready to work more than 12 hours. 2. Leave problem - we have 72 leaves per year. But you can hardly avail them. Getting leaves is extremely difficult, no senior authority wants to sanction leave. With half Saturday Working and no leaves in many festival makes work life balance worse. 3. Nature of job I. Risky - every entry done in finacle is risky. (Finacle our software in which we work). One of my batchmate was arrested and put behind bars because he seeded wrong aadhar card in someone else account. So a different person withdraw the amount and he complaint in police and police arrested him. Now before someone say that its his job and he must be careful then let me clarify it was during the time when govt give us order for 100 percent aadhar seeding. We had to daily work we can't stop that and additionally we had to put aadhar in every account since the opening of branch. So just imagine seeding aadhar at 7 8 pm after completing daily work and making one mistake and ending up in jail. That's not the only case, from atm application to mobile change and verifying cheque paymemt to doing neft rtgs there is tremendous risk. Just one digit here from there and be ready for complaint from customer, penalty and disciplinary action. If you decide to work in loan department and get away from all this entry and verifying thing then there are more risk in loan department. Ii. Monotonous - work is very boring. You will feel like data entry operator. Iii. Unhealthy - sitting 8 to 9 hours continuously in chair will certainly affect your health. Iv irritating - answering same que again and again to stupid customer is really frustrating. You will feel like customer care executive. 3. Respect - maybe you will get good marriage proposal for having a govt job and your relative will respect you. But you won't feel respected in your office. Senior will scold you and customers will shout at you. I have many incident where customers have shouted at me. State govt and central govt doesn't respect you either. Police won't treat you like officer. Even constable don't talk with respect when police come for monthly inspection. Customers know there are 20 banks other than mine. So they don't care about giving us respect. 4. Transfer and posting -. Worse than any other service. All India transfer liability. In other all India transfer service you will be posted in capital city or good city. But in bank one day you are working in small town of cg and next posting can be in south india rural place where no one understand hindi. Every senior know these so they will force you to complete target or they will transfer you. 5. Target - we have target of banking then of govt scheme and then pvt bank type target of mutual fund and insurance etc. 6. Branch location and facilities - depends on branch. Some are good some are so pathetic you won't even have good bathroom. 7. Emergency services - banking is kind of emergency service. Even during lockdown district administration had given strict order to open all branches so people won't have any problem. 8. Loan recovery. You will have to go for vasooli. There are many incident of maar peet and sometimes even lethal attack. No one give a damn about a bank officer getting beaten. 9. Privatisation. Govt is planning to pvt banks. There are a lot of other reason. But that's all for now.
