Do you guys ever think that SSC will mend it's ways or will it always be like this that 2 or 2.5 years from filling form till date of joining?? If you think the system will change then please elaborate how do you think the change will happen.

WARNING - A bit of ranting ahead!
Today one of my very close friends got accepted in IIM Udaipur. We are 2019 passouts, and while I'm stuck in the loop of notification-exam-result of govt job, he was working in Resonance and got selected in baby IIMs in 2019 (didn't join) and now IIM Udaipur. I'm very happy for him as he's like a brother to me and comes from a very humble background.
But it has left me wondering if I've made the right choice to go into this field as it's been exactly 1 year since my final results came out. I'm sure many of you feel the same from time to time but for me this is the first such instance. And looking at the situation, the future seems very gloomy. Can only hope for the best now.
