when you realise there are atleast 20000 (maybe even 23000) candidates with 165+ marks in tier 1..and there are only 9500 posts

This is my marksheet from CGL17. My rank was more than 14k after PRE. I was solely responsible for the fiasco, for I had given up my preparation months before pre. Fortunately, I ended up with an AIR<1000 in the end. 😱😱 Why am I bringing this up now? Because I was in the same stage as many of you are now. I had two choices. I could have given up preparation after Pre and moved on to the next CGL or I could have just hung in there. I went with the latter. If I look back today, it was one of the best decisions I ever took . 😁😁 CGL always gives you a chance to make a comeback. So, instead of letting yourself down because you think your marks are less.. you should please focus on what you could do from now on. CGL is not just one paper. It is actually 3 papers. Even Tier 3 gives you a chance to make amends. SSC me 1 mark ke difference me 300-500 log easily hote hain(Pre me to 1000+ bhi hote h). If you could score 5 to 7 marks more in Descriptive paper with hardwork and planning.. you could easily jump ahead. 😛😛 Moral of the story is this: Don't become disheartened or complacent. It's not over. This is not the end. 😊😊
Frst time ssc CGL..my raw score is just 110..5th March 2 nd shift..obc cut off 135..so u can predict as many marks u wanted whic was added to me
